knitting instructions & pro tips

1. Choose a tattoo design

To get inspired you can go to the everything category and find something for yourself 🫶🏻

2. Choose a place

Choose a place on your body, degrease, clean and finally dry thoroughly. If the chosen part of the body has a lot of hair, shave it for the best effect. Avoid bends, because the tattoo may smudge there or make a bad impression.

3. peel off the foil

Remove the clear protective film from your temporary tattoo.

4. Place the tattoo on your skin

Place the design on the chosen area on your body, making sure the darker side of the design is facing up.

5. Soak the pattern

Using a damp sponge, gently dab the paper for 5–10 seconds until it is completely saturated.

6. discover your tattoo

Gently remove the wet paper from your skin. At first, your tattoo will only be slightly visible.

7. watch out

For the next 8 hours, avoid contact with water or excessive rubbing. To prevent smudging or transferring, cover the tattoo with loose clothing for the next two nights.

8. Wait for the full effect

Your Jagua tattoo will reach full color in about 24/48 hours. After that time, enjoy your tattoo and show it off to others!

With temporary tattoos you don't have to wait, the tattoos will be visible immediately after they are done!

pro tips

1. avoid bending

Avoid placing the tattoo where your skin creases as this will help prevent the design from blurring.

2. prepare your skin

Exfoliate to remove dead skin and achieve better results.

3. degrease

Thoroughly degreasing the leather will ensure better adhesion of the pattern and a much better final effect.

4. Shave the spot

You will get the best results on a smooth skin surface, so we recommend shaving the chosen area.

5. Cover your tattoo at night!

For the first two nights, wear loose clothing that will cover the tattoo and prevent it from showing on other parts of your body while you sleep.

6. Give it time

If after 48 hours the design is not yet fully coloured, don't worry - the process may take longer, depending on your skin.

How long does jagua last?

The graphic below shows the approximate time a Jagua tattoo will last on different parts of the body. Remember, however, that the actual durability of a tattoo depends on individual factors, such as skin type, how you care for it, and the degree of exposure to friction and contact with water.

Why does jagua take up to 48 hours to color?

The Jagua tattoo does not remain on the skin surface, but penetrates the first layer. The natural reaction of the dye with the skin lasts up to 48 hours and depends on the skin type.

security

If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, start with a small tattoo to make sure the product does not cause irritation.

The product may contain ingredients that are new to your skin, which carries a small risk of allergic reactions. If you have previously experienced irritation from similar products, we recommend caution before use. In case of disturbing symptoms, such as itching or rash, seek professional advice.
